For me, art is a place where I can let go. It’s a way for me to process the chaos around me. As soon as I turn on the music and start working in the studio, I become completely immersed in the task at hand.
I experiment a lot and build my artworks in many layers. I intentionally play with texture and three-dimensionality to open up new perspectives. Acrylic is my primary medium, but I also incorporate coffee grounds, soil, plants, plaster, epoxy, or spray paint into my creations.
My leaning toward abstraction has always been there. I’m drawn to compositions that balance colors, shapes, transitions, and textures harmoniously.
My work is characterized by a seamless blend of unbridled creativity and meticulous structural elements. This contrast is entirely intentional. A piece is only finished when I feel that this symbiosis has been achieved. My art serves as a mirror, inviting you to reflect on your inner self.
What do you discover?
Für mich ist Kunst ein Ort zum Loslassen. Ich erschaffe mit einen Moment, in dem ich das Chaos um mich herum verarbeiten kann. Wenn ich die Musik im Atelier aufdrehe und in die Arbeit eintauche, schaltet mein Kopf ab.
Ich experimentiere viel und baue meine Werke über viele Schichten auf. Dabei spiele ich gezielt mit Haptik und Dreidimensionalität, um neue Perspektiven zu ermöglichen. Neben Acryl als Hauptmedium verwende ich für die Bildgestaltung Kaffeesatz, Erde, Pflanzen, Gips, Epoxidharz oder Sprühlack.
Meine Neigung zur Abstraktion war schon immer da. Mich spricht es an, wenn die Komposition aus Farben, Formen, Übergängen und rauen Texturen für mich stimmig ist.
In meinen Werken trifft die völlige Freiheit in der Gestaltung auf klare, strukturelle Elemente. Dieser Kontrast ist bewusst gewählt. Ein Werk ist für mich genau dann fertig, wenn diese Symbiose gelungen ist. Meine Kunst ist eine Einladung an dich, sie als Spiegel zu nutzen und in dich hineinzusehen.
